Meet your NTP

I became a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) because I knew there was so much more to my health than what we’re commonly told. We always hear from doctors: Eat more vegetables and fruit, exercise regularly, and don’t stress! While this advice is true, I always found it challenging to implement.

We’re fortunate to have access to healthcare, but true health is incredibly complex and unique to each person. More time and personalized attention are needed to truly understand our bodies and become the healthiest versions of ourselves. Getting to know people—their lifestyles, habits, and what their bodies need—has been fascinating.

Most of us don’t realize the importance of cellular health, which is a key focus in my practice. Our hormones, organs, and brain are made up of cells, and when we prioritize cellular health, we start to see real, positive changes.

During my education, I majored in Neuroscience at Virginia Tech and later became an NTP through the Nutritional Therapy Association. I’ve gained deep knowledge in gut health, digestion support, quality sleep, nutrient-dense diets, and the science behind building healthy cells. My passion has always been rooted in science, the mind-body connection, and overall well-being.

As an NTP, I love connecting with people and guiding them through small, sustainable changes that lead to lifelong health. I believe health should be a lifestyle—not a quick fix—and most importantly, it should be simple and enjoyable. I’ll help you get the minerals and nutrients your body needs, but rest assured, there will always be room for dessert!

How is a NTP different than a Nutritionist?

Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) takes a holistic, root-cause approach to health, focusing on bio-individuality—because no two bodies are the same. Unlike a general nutritionist, an NTP looks beyond basic dietary advice and dives deeper into foundational health, including digestion, blood sugar regulation, sleep, mineral status, and hydration. Trained through the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA), NTPs emphasize nutrient-dense whole foods, lifestyle shifts, and personalized wellness strategies to support optimal health. While we do not diagnose or treat medical conditions, we empower individuals with the knowledge and tools to restore balance and vitality through nutrition. If you're looking for a personalized, functional approach to well-being, working with an NTP can help you build long-term, sustainable health.
